7.20 Ct. A Grade Loose Gem Labradorite 16x12 mm
The name Labradorite comes from the Labrador region of Canada, where it was first discovered. In 1770, a Czech missionary named Father Adolf discovered a large number of strange-looking stones on the Labrador peninsula's east side. Even though the colour was a bleak grey, light reflections revealed flecks of blue and green. A sodium and calcium feldspar was later identified as the stone. A leather-finish sturdy box with a hinged metal clip clasp protects the gemstones, making it ideal for gifting.
