I saw first-hand the difference this program has made

"In September this year I had the privilege and opportunity to visit one of the many schools in India which we donate meals to as part of our Your Purchase Feeds program. I didn’t really know what to expect and was blown away by the whole experience. I saw first-hand the difference this program has made to the lives of many children and their families. It was amazing to be able to serve the children their meals and see their beaming smiles which I will remember forever. It is such a great program and amazing to be able to deliver this with the whole TJC team!"

Without the bikes the journey to school is simply too far

"I was proud to have had the opportunity, along with my colleagues in Bali, to build and donate bikes for children who live far away from a school. Without the bikes the journey to school is simply too far to allow them to attend every day. We turned our team building day from not only developing our business to making a small, but hopefully impactful, contribution for the local community i.e. helping underprivileged children in Bali ensure they can get an education."

Overall collecting donations for British Heart Foundation was an experience

"I had the chance to participate in charity runs as well as collect donations for the British heart foundation. Collecting donations for British Heart Foundation outside Tesco’s was a heartening experience, especially to see many people coming forward to support the initiative and thanked all of them for each of their invaluable donations that could save few people’s lives. I also felt sad but happy at the same time for a person who donated for the charity telling that her husband received help from British heart foundation when he went through bypass operation earlier that year. Overall collecting donations for British Heart Foundation was an experience that will keep lingering in my mind for a long time!"

Even though have done many charity runs before this one was different

"The colour run was such a great experience where so many of my colleagues joined me in raising money for the Macmillan charity. I personally really enjoyed it as even though have done many charity runs before this one was different- LOADS OF FUN – I would encourage anyone thinking of doing a colour run to do it you will have such a good time!!"

We made jewellery which they were excited to make for themselves

"I had the fantastic opportunity to attend a Magic Breakfast session with my colleagues. The children were dropped early to school for breakfast which consisted of cereals & toasted bagels. The children were delightful. We made jewellery which they were excited to make for themselves and their friends. It is fantastic to be part of an organisation which gives back to the community and to see our contribution help others."
